Let the Record Show...things are about to change around here.

I told myself I would not blog about the election because I grew very weary of hearing about it 24/7 over the past two years. But after waking up this morning to hear the confirmation of our new President Electee, Barrack Obama I thought about how the people of America must be feeling, and how the rest of the world must be taking a sigh of relief.

Let the record show, that in the case of George W. Bush, the people all agreed after eight years that America needed a big change. I hope that speaks volumes to the rest of the world. Those in other countries may hate Americans but why do you hate them? Do you hate them because of their government and the choices the government made "in their best interest"? Governments obviously don't always make decisions in the peoples best interests but some of the time make decisions in their best interest.

To all the races, consider this, a lot of votes went into the victory of Obama. We all came together to help Obama become victorious in the race. Let's all continue to work together. Obama is there because we need change, lets do just that. Change the way we have been thinking for the past century. Change the way we have been treating each other. This is the beginning.

In closing, I just have to say I am very sad that Obama's Grandmother could not see her grandson become America's very first black president. I know she must have been holding on for it. The Good Lord took her home the day before. She knows though, I am sure of it.
